Train-The-Trainer
Manual Released |
Another
first from Securesearch, Inc. is the Train-The-Trainer
Manual. Available exclusively through Securesearch, Inc
and its
world wide sales representatives.
The unique Manual covers explosives,
components used by terrorists and other criminals in
improvised explosive devices, and many other hazardous
items such as handguns, ammunition, Tasers™, hand
grenades, etc. It is not a book of x-ray images, but of
full-color photos of the explosives and components
themselves with detailed descriptions. This Manual is
extremely useful for bomb technicians, customs officers
and military EOD personnel-- as well as security
screeners operating in mailrooms, at controlled entry
points, and in airports checking pre-boarding passengers
and their luggage.

Explosive and
Pseudo-Drug Simulant Microtrace Marking Pens |
Police
officers, dog trainers, customs officers and airport
security inspectors, need a simple method of depositing
a trace sample of explosives and pseudo-drug simulants.
Until now, this has meant compliance with onerous
licensing, shipping and storage requirements.
Securesearch, Inc. is the exclusive manufacturer of a
series of fiber-tip marking pens, each containing
MICROTRACE amounts of different explosive particles,
simulated G-agent, one of 7 pseudo-drug simulants,
corpse scent and black mold scent, in a volatile
solvent. The metal-bodied markers operate on a one-way
release valve, activated only when the user applies
pressure to the tip, and draws it across the surface of
an object. The smear left on the surface, while
invisible, can be detected by a trained dog.

New Inert Training Aids:
SWAT Grenade Vest and Training Grenades |
|
 |
|
Securesearch, Inc. has developed a SWAT training grenade that has
severalpossible applications in different training scenarios. This
grenade has anelectronic fuze, and is available with any of three
optional fuze configurations. 1. instantaneous detonation after arming,
for use in boobytrap training operations, on acompanion suicide/homicide
vest, and as a stake mine training aid. This version has nomechanical
safety lever, just an arming rocker switch and cotter pin/pull ring
assembly. 2. adjustable time delay fuze, with a safety lever. After
rocker switch arming, delay can be set-- ranging between 2 seconds and
approximately 5-1/2 minutes maximum, by a variable resistor. 3.
Non-adjustable fuze, with a safety lever, that initiates the pyrotechnic
charge 6-7 secondsafter the safety lever is released. The grenade is
re-useable hundreds of times. A new, inexpensive pyro device that
producessmoke and a mild report, is inserted into a tube in the grenade
base for each exercise, and itswires lock into two gripper terminals on
the side of the grenade. There are two small alkalinebatteries,
supplied, that fit into a covered battery compartment on the grenade
sidewall. Whennew, the batteries are good for an average of 85-100 pyro
charge initiations. The grenade can behand held, mounted in various
boobytrap configurations; mounted onto an optional stake minesupport for
outdoor “grow-op” scenarios and locked into the front of a
suicide/homicide vest thatalso contains other simulated explosive
charges-- as a real challenge for SWAT Team response! This grenade can
be held in the hand (with the base of the grenade away from the face and
bodyof a protectively dressed operator), and pointed away from any
nearby personnel, whendetonated. The tough plastic grenade body does not
break up into dangerous fragments. Our U.S. distributor Police Rescue
(PR) Corporation / OPFOR Munitions, of Houston,Texas, markets this
grenade, the stake mine version and suicide/homicide vest version--
including thevest. They are the sole supplier of the pyro smoke/ report
charge. See us and our products on display at Force Protection Equipment
Demonstration VII (FPED 7) at Stafford Regional Airport, VA, May 19-21,
2009, at booth no. 12-R For further information contact: us at
